Terms of Service
Effective 1 August 2026
What you can expect from us and what we expect from you while MotorHub AI is in private alpha. Written to be read rather than survived.
01Acceptance
By requesting access to or using MotorHub AI you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing for a dealership, you confirm you can bind it.
02The alpha
The platform is under active development. Features change, break and occasionally disappear. We give notice of anything that touches your data. Nothing here should be treated as a stable dependency yet, and there is no uptime commitment or SLA unless one is written into your contract.
03Your account
- 3.1Credentials
- You are responsible for what happens under yours.
- 3.2Seats are per person
- A shared login makes the activity log meaningless, and that log is the one record that answers who changed a price or replied to a customer.
- 3.3Permissions
- Cost and margin visibility is yours to configure. We do not override it.
04Permitted use
Use the platform to run your dealership. Do not resell access, reverse engineer it, use it to break the law, or upload anything you have no right to upload.
05Usage limits
Every plan carries limits. They exist so no single account can degrade the platform for everyone else, and so a compromised credential cannot drain a database before anyone notices.
- 5.1Vehicles
- 100 on Standard, 500 on Pro, negotiated above that.
- 5.2Copilot seats
- Per person, per month. Plans include some; extra ones are billed.
- 5.3Media AI credits
- Metered. Generation stops when the balance reaches zero rather than billing you by surprise.
- 5.4API and integrations
- Rate limited per account. Sustained excess returns 429 before it returns errors, so you find out by being throttled rather than by data going missing.
- 5.5Outbound messaging
- Capped per hour and per lead, including anything Copilot sends.
- 5.6Where to find them
- Published on the pricing page and inside the product. We tell you before changing one that affects you.
06Fair use and abuse
Some things are not a limit question but a line.
- 6.1Not permitted
- Automated bulk extraction of listings, comparables or market data, through the interface or the API. Using Copilot for unsolicited bulk messaging. Credential stuffing, brute force, or probing another account's data. Sharing seats to avoid paying for them.
- 6.2What we do
- We monitor for these and we rate limit, throttle or suspend. Clearly deliberate behaviour gets suspended first and asked about afterwards; a misconfigured integration gets a message first.
- 6.3Reinstatement
- Write to team@motorhub.ai. If it was a misconfiguration we would rather fix it than lose you.
07Your data
Your inventory, your leads and your customers' data remain yours. We process them to run the platform and for nothing else. We do not sell them and we do not train shared models on them. On termination you can export them.
08Our material
The platform, its interface and its documentation are ours. The alpha, its features and its pricing are confidential until they are public — no screenshots and no access outside your dealership.
09AI output
Pricing suggestions, market comparables and anything Copilot drafts are inputs to your decision, not the decision. Check them before they reach a customer. You remain responsible for what your dealership publishes and sends.
10Disclaimer and liability
The platform is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost sales.
11Termination
Either of us can end this at any time. On termination you can export your data and we delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires otherwise.
12Changes and contact
Material changes are emailed to alpha participants. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept them. Everything else goes to team@motorhub.ai.
